Recorder Fingering Board
Recorder Fingering Board
Teaching recorder fingerings just got easier with this Recorder Fingering Board. Students will be able to easily visualize and replicate recorder finger patterns as you use coloured magnetic dots to demonstrating recorder fingering patterns.
In addition to a place for demonstrating recorder finger patterns, this Recorder Fingering Board also has room for you to place the letter names and accidentals needed.

How to use this Recorder Fingering Board
This Recorder Fingering Board will make teaching group recorder class so much easier as students can see the colourful magnetic dots clearly to replicate them (note: to use all the same colour for your recorder fingerings, you will need two magnetic sets; with one set, you can use one colour for the right hand and another colour for the left hand).
For even better results, use with the recorder fingering washi tape, where students can color the washi tape to match the Recorder Fingering Board demonstration.
Use the Recorder Fingering Board as a game. Give each student a Recorder Fingering Board. Call out a note and have students race to see who can put the correct fingerings first.
Play a game where you place a finger pattern on the Recorder Fingering Board and the student must find the correct letter name (and accidental). Flip it around and put the letter and have a student fill in the fingerings.
Using the Recorder Fingering Board with the Magnetic Grand Staff (these use the same magnets!) opens a whole world of new teaching opportunities! Teach the student note correlation between what they are playing on the recorder and the notes on the staff by using the two side by side.
